About Coolabah Farm
Coolabah is situated in the picturesque New England region sitting on the Beardy Waters River, 25 kilometres from Glen Innes. Purchased in 2008 as a private hunting and fishing retreat Coolabah is now available for private hunting and fishing guided tours.
The property is home to one of the largest free-range fallow deer herds in New South Wales. The property is abundant with fallow deer, other game and some of our beautiful birdlife are spotted daily on the property, the deer can be seen numerous times a day.
The Beardy Waters River is part of the Murray-Darling River system and home to the Australia Native Murray Cod. Fish are regularly caught here, with many being in excess of one metre in length.
The Kelly Cabin was built in 2016 by the current owner and offers a unique river front accommodation with all modern amenities.
